Signal clamp 125 mm for applying a locating signal to cables and pipes - Leica ULTRA

Not every line can be taken out of service just to be traced. The signal clamp with a 125 mm opening closes around the cable and couples the Leica ULTRA signal transmitter output onto it inductively, with no core disconnected and no connection point exposed. The receiver then follows one clearly assigned route instead of a blurred mix of signals.

The manufacturer lists the clamp for use with the Leica ULTRA signal transmitter, connected to its output. For larger cable diameters Leica offers the clamp with a 178 mm opening under material number 818705. The clamp is supplied on its own, transmitter and receiver are not included.
