For dry packing to MSD requirements the residual pressure reached is what counts. The Iteco 7914278 uses an oil bath vacuum pump rated 20 m³/h and reaches 98 % vacuum, eight percentage points more than the compressed air version 7914275, over a sealing length of 450 mm.

Applications

Dry packing of moisture sensitive devices in ESD barrier bags, storage of component reels and assemblies, preservation before long storage or overseas shipping. The vacuum values recommended in the Iteco catalogue are 75 to 85 % for component reels and 70 to 80 % for printed boards.

Compatibility and scope of supply

Supplied as a mobile unit with built in oil pump and digital control. Flat and embossed barrier bags can both be processed. Where inert gas is also needed, the sister model Iteco 7914279 with nitrogen or dry air injection is the right choice. Desiccant bags are listed by Iteco under 7914005. Made in Italy.
