VacuTek vacuum sealer with external suction, manual, 450 mm - Iteco 7914340

A chamber machine limits the bag to the size of its tank. The VacuTek Iteco 7914340 draws the air from outside instead and therefore closes barrier bags of any length, over a sealing length of 450 mm and with a dry running pump rated 5 m³/h.

Features

• External suction: the neck of the bag is laid into the sealing bar and the bag length no longer matters, which makes the unit an economical alternative to a vacuum chamber.
• Magnetic misalignment spring included. Hooked in, it creates suction channels in flat ESD barrier bags, which unlike food bags have no internal knurling. With embossed bags it is simply removed.
• Vacuum time can be preset or the cycle started by hand with the SEAL button, times shown on a digital display.
• Dry running vacuum pump rated 5 m³/h with no oil change, noise level below 65 dB.
• Teflon coated sealing bar of 2 x 6 mm and 450 mm sealing length for ESD barrier bags of common width.
• Compact stainless steel housing of 490 x 390 x 220 mm, mains supply 230 V/50 Hz with 600 W.

Applications

Dry packing of moisture sensitive devices to J-STD-033D in EPA areas, packing of long or unusually shaped bags, sample shipments and small batches. Useful wherever bag sizes change and a fixed chamber size would get in the way.

Compatibility and scope of supply

Supplied as a bench unit with integrated dry pump and the magnetic misalignment spring. The spring is fitted into the upper part of the sealing bar for flat barrier bags and removed for embossed bags. Desiccant bags are listed by Iteco under 7914005 and humidity data loggers under 9265302. Where a higher and reproducible vacuum level is needed, the VacuWeld chamber models Iteco 7914275 to 7914279 are preferable. VacuTek is the successor of the Vaculab, built for more than ten years.
