Continuous band sealer, horizontal feed, 150 mm conveyor - Iteco 7914190

Once more than a few dozen bags per shift have to be closed, an impulse bar sealer becomes the bottleneck. The Iteco 7914190 instead pulls the bag between heated rollers on a running belt and produces a continuous 8 mm seal at a belt speed of up to 12 m/min.

Features

• Horizontal feed: the bag lies flat on the 150 mm conveyor, suited to flat bags holding boards, component reels or small parts.
• Seal width of 8 mm with a maximum sealable thickness of 800 µm covers PE bags as well as multi-layer laminates.
• Temperature adjustable from 0 to 300 °C, so the seal can be matched to the film in use.
• Belt speed variable from 0 to 12 m/min, letting the machine follow the pace of the packing station.
• Standard embossing attachment prints date and lot coding with up to 39 characters into the seal.
• Stainless steel housing and portable design for moving between several packing benches.

Applications

Continuous closing of PE and laminate bags in electronics manufacturing, shipping departments and spare part logistics. Horizontal feed suits bags that lie flat and hold solid contents. For bags with spillable or liquid contents the vertical sister model Iteco 7914191 is the right layout.

Compatibility and scope of supply

Supplied ready to run with conveyor belt and embossing attachment including the character set for date and lot code. It handles all common heat sealable plastic bags up to a total thickness of 800 µm. Made in Italy.
