VacuWeld vacuum chamber sealer, oil pump with inert gas injection - Iteco 7914279

Oxidation sensitive parts are not protected by vacuum alone once residual oxygen stays in the bag. The Iteco 7914279 therefore flushes the bag with dry air or nitrogen after evacuating to up to 98 % and then seals it over a length of 450 mm.

Features

• Inert gas injection with its own timer (Inlet Gas Time) for dry air or nitrogen, the feature that sets this model apart from the otherwise identical 7914278.
• Oil bath vacuum pump rated 20 m³/h for up to 98 % vacuum, measured at sea level.
• Digital setting of vacuum percentage, gas time and seal time, monitored by a sensor in the chamber.
• Chamber of 450 x 500 x 90 mm, seal bar 450 x 5 mm, up to 10 sealing programmes can be stored.
• Mobile floor unit with stainless steel body, aluminium cover and conductive castors for use in EPA areas.
• Mains supply 230 V/50 Hz with 2 kW, external dimensions 615 x 726 x 970 mm.

Applications

Packing of oxidation sensitive components, lead free tinned terminations, component reels and assembled boards under inert gas. Equally suited to dry packing of moisture sensitive devices where residual oxygen in the bag has to be displaced as well.

Compatibility and scope of supply

The gas function requires a supply of dry air or nitrogen provided on site. Flat and embossed barrier bags can both be processed. Without inert gas the model Iteco 7914278 is sufficient, without an oil pump the compressed air driven Iteco 7914275. Desiccant bags are listed by Iteco under 7914005. Made in Italy.
