Motors and controllers

Festo EMGA planetary gearboxes are matched for use with EMMS-AS servo motors and EMMS-ST stepper motors. Flange sizes 40, 60, 80, 120 and 160 mm with gear ratios i=3 (G3) or i=5 (G5) cover a wide torque range. Motor interface variants SAS (for EMMS-AS servo motors), SST (for EMMS-ST steppers), EAS (for third-party motors) and SEC (for combimotor flange) are available.

The P-design (planetary) gearboxes are rated for continuous duty and deliver high-torque, compact power transmission with low backlash. The adapter flange system also allows combination with third-party motors via the EAS interface.

Typical applications: Torque multiplication for linear axes with ball screw, swivel axes and rotary tables requiring high holding torque, handling systems with restricted installation space, and the EMGC-67 paired with the integrated drive EMCA-EC-67 for a single compact drive module.
