Flat cables such as Twin and Earth or NM-B can hardly be stripped cleanly with a round cable tool, the blade hits the cores. These pliers strip the sheath from PVC-insulated flat cables up to 12 mm wide and adapt automatically to cross-sections from 0.75 mm² to 2.5 mm², leaving the conductors undamaged.
