Soldering
PACE Soldering
PACE builds soldering, desoldering and rework equipment for production, repair and the lab. Its soldering irons and thermal tweezers use tip-heater cartridges, with heater and sensor located inside the tip cartridge. The stations control temperature with SensaTemp, IntelliHeat or AccuDrive, the Sodr-X-Tractor extracts solder from plated through-holes, MiniTweez thermal tweezers lift small SMD components, and Arm-Evac removes solder fumes right at the joint.
The subcategories follow the layout of a workstation: stations and power units, soldering and desoldering irons as separate handpieces, tips sorted by handpiece series, hot air and hot gas nozzles, stands and tip holders, fume extraction, and accessories and spare parts such as filters, glass chambers and heater elements. The control technology of the station determines which handpieces and tips fit.

FAQ
- What is the difference between SensaTemp, IntelliHeat and AccuDrive?
- They are three control technologies of PACE stations. SensaTemp handpieces have a black connector, IntelliHeat handpieces a blue one, and AccuDrive handpieces such as TD-200 and MT-200 run on AccuDrive ports, for example on the MBT360.
- What is a tip-heater cartridge?
- A tip cartridge with the heater and sensor built in. The tip recovers heat quickly and is replaced as one unit.
- Where can I find spare parts such as filters or heater elements?
- In the accessories and spare parts subcategory, which includes filters for Arm-Evac, glass chambers for the Sodr-X-Tractor and heater elements for ThermoPik and ThermoTweez.
- How do I find the right tip?
- Tips are sorted by handpiece series, for example TD-100, TD-200, PS-90, SX desoldering irons and MiniTweez. Select the series of your handpiece first, then shape and width.
