Anyone working at height, at depth or on ropes must not drop a tool. The 00 50 10 T BK lanyard holds back tools weighing up to 6 kg, battery-operated ones included, and its holding capacity was checked in numerous drop tests.

Benefits

• The roughly 90 cm long gathered fabric strap stretches to about 1.5 m when weight is applied, giving a wide and comfortable working radius.
• Attach it either by the cord side or by the carabiner to the climbing equipment or to designated fixed points, switching the belay from the tool bag to the tether is quick.
• A sewn flat belt loop at one end and a cord with cord stopper sewn into the other end, each sewn four times.
• The additional flat belt loop also allows a short connection of the tool close to the body with an optional carabiner.
• Cord stopper made of solid aluminium, also available as a spare part.

Areas of use

Work at height, at depth or on ropes: industrial climbing, shaft work, rescue services, arboriculture, bridge refurbishment, wind power and offshore jobs. The lanyard reduces the risk of losing a tool, of injury to people and animals and of damage to objects.

Standards and conformity

The lanyard is not personal protective equipment and is not suitable for securing people, it secures tools only. For KNIPEX pliers with a tether attachment point it can only be used together with the 1.5 kg adapter strap 00 50 02 T. According to the manufacturer the product contains no substances of very high concern under REACH, the RoHS directive does not apply.
