Anyone working at height, at depth or on ropes does not want to assemble the tethering system first. This lanyard arrives with the equipment carabiner already fixed in place and holds back tools weighing up to 6 kg, verified in numerous drop tests.

• The roughly 90 cm long gathered fabric strap stretches to about 1.5 m when weight is applied, giving a wide and comfortable working radius.
• Attach it either by the cord side or by the carabiner to climbing equipment or to designated fixed points, switching the belay from the tool bag to the tether is quick.
• A sewn flat belt loop at one end and a cord with a solid aluminium cord stopper sewn into the other end, each sewn four times.
• The additional flat belt loop also allows a short connection of the tool close to the body with an optional carabiner.

Standards and conformity

The lanyard is not personal protective equipment and is not suitable for securing people, it secures tools only. For KNIPEX pliers with a tether attachment point only the 1.5 kg adapter strap 00 50 02 T is intended. According to the manufacturer the product contains no substances of very high concern under REACH, the RoHS directive does not apply.
