Dissipative profiled foam insert, pink, 183 x 127 mm, 20 mm high - A1-ESD EP0704095

When goods leave the ESD protected area, the insert decides whether they arrive undamaged and uncharged. At 183 x 127 mm this profiled foam insert covers the base of the larger Cortronic shipping boxes and cushions the whole area with a height of 20 mm.

Application

The typical place of use is the packing station inside the EPA, where populated boards, connector sets or test samples are prepared for dispatch. The insert goes onto the box base, the component is pressed into the nubs and stays fixed until goods receipt at the recipient. With flat assemblies a second insert serves as a cover from above so the part cannot shift inside the carton. The insert is equally suitable for in-house transport between the test station and the store. The range also covers further formats.
