ESD Strapping Band PP-ESD Black, 8 mm Wide, 750 m Roll - A1-ESD EP0709011

Strapping ESD containers and cartons with ordinary plastic band introduces, at the very end of the packing line, exactly the material that can undo the protective measures taken before it. This band is made from polypropylene in dissipative PP-ESD grade and reaches a surface resistance below 1.0 x 10E7 ohm. The narrow 8 mm version comes on a 750 m roll and is the variant for smaller strapping heads and lighter packages.

Technical data

Application

The band is used at goods issue and in internal logistics wherever containers, lids or cartons holding electronic assemblies are secured. Typical jobs are lashing stacked ESD containers on a pallet, securing carton lids before dispatch and bundling cut sheets in the store. Because strapping is the last step and often happens outside the EPA, a dissipative band is the simplest way to keep the protection chain intact up to shipment.
