Anyone fitting out a chassis, a trolley or a shelf unit for the ESD protected area needs casters that do not electrically isolate the structure and that carry the weight of the populated assemblies. This fixed caster has a wheel diameter of 100 mm, an overall height of 128 mm and a load capacity of 160 kg. The wheel centre is electrically conductive polyamide, the tread is injection-moulded polyurethane. It is mounted through a bolt-on top plate with the mounting dimension 105 x 80 mm / 80/77 x 60 mm.

Application

Typical use is on transport and tier trolleys, material carts, chassis and mobile shelving inside an EPA, wherever populated assemblies are moved and the whole structure has to stay electrostatically controlled. Fixed casters run straight ahead and are usually combined in pairs with swivel casters of the same overall height to form a chassis. The range is supplied in wheel diameters of 100 mm, 125 mm and 160 mm, so the casters of one chassis can be matched to each other.
