Kilews Power Supply with Counting Function SKP-BC40HL V3.0, start and reverse input

Anyone who has to prove screw joints in assembly needs more than voltage at the screwdriver: this power supply counts the screws driven, monitors the driving time and reports the result to the line control over an I/O interface. It powers the Kilews series SKD-BN200, SKD-BN500, SKD-BN800, SKD-BK900, SKD-RBK and SKD-TBK with DC 40 V, 32 V or 24 V and runs on a wide-range input of AC 100 V to 240 V.

Benefits

• Screw count from 1 to 99: counting up or down is selectable and left-hand rotation counts back, so a released screw frees the counter again.
• Driving time monitoring: minimum and maximum time can be set from 0,00 to 9,99 s, which exposes joints that run too short or too long.
• OK, NOK and total OK outputs: the I/O interface ties the unit into the production process directly, and a carrier is released only after the total OK signal.
• External start and reverse: alongside sensor/enable and reset this version accepts a start and a reverse input, so the driving cycle and left-hand rotation can be triggered from the line.
• Auto-learn: the unit adapts to the joint on its own, which saves manual parameter entry during changeover.
• Soft start: 0 to 9,9 s ramp at 30 to 85 percent of maximum speed, so the screw seats cleanly before the torque builds up.

Used at manual benches in electronics manufacturing where a fixed number of screws per assembly is driven and documented. The counter reports a complete set of joints as total OK, the time limits catch a stripped thread or a screw that was never tightened, and the auto-learn function shortens the changeover to another assembly.
