ESD safety sandal XP 355 S1P, SportLine textile, width 10, black/blue - Atlas 35000

The XP 355 ESD is a safety sandal for warm production and storage areas with an ESD requirement. It meets protection class S1P to EN ISO 20345:2012, the anatomically shaped steel toe cap protects against at least 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression, and the penetration barrier is metal-free, using an aramid textile instead of a steel midsole.

What sets this model apart

• Charge dissipation first. The shoe is ESD compliant and routes the wearer static charge through the sole to ground in a controlled way instead of letting it build up on the body. Inside an EPA to DIN EN 61340-5-1 that is the precondition for no component failing from a discharge on the way between workbench and machine.
• S1P in plain words. S1 means a closed heel area, antistatic construction and an energy-absorbing heel region. The P stands for the penetration-resistant midsole, here in the metal-free XP version made from a high-tech textile with aramid fibres.
• Metal-free means lighter and warmer. The XP textile weighs less than a steel midsole, covers the entire sole area, does not block foot torsion and forms no cold bridge. The steel toe cap stays and protects against at least 200 joules and 15 kN.
• SportLine upper. The textile fabric is air-permeable and breathable, and its hydrophobic finish also makes it water-repellent, quick-drying and hard-wearing.
• INNOFLEX SYSTEM with MPU. Force is guided along the INNOFLEX LINE from heel to toe, the CLOUDZONE in the heel absorbs energy and gives it back. The MPU REBOUND SYSTEM adds a pressure-relieving insole.
• Climate across the whole shift. The MPU toe bumper keeps the toe area intact longer during kneeling work, the aktiv-X lining regulates moisture and the clima-stream concept with the Klima Komfort insole keeps the foot climate even.
