The PLCC extractor lifts socketed ICs and PLCCs with 2 to 124 pins safely out of their sockets without damaging the pins. Two hooks engage the socket slots and pull the chip out evenly when the pliers are pressed. At just 21 g it is a compact addition to any mobile service kit.

Description
For lifting integrated circuits out of sockets, PLCC and SOJ housings, the PLCC extractor 2-620 measures 100 mm overall. Two hooks fit into the socket slots and grip under the component, so pressing the pliers pulls the chip evenly and safely out of its housing.
