Elsold is a brand of TAMURA ELSOLD GmbH, headquartered in Ilsenburg in the Harz region of Germany. The company develops and produces soldering products for the electrical and electronics industry and for the solar industry, and has been part of the Tokyo-based Tamura Group since the end of 2017.
Its solder production dates back to 1954, when it started as an independent unit of JL Goslar GmbH. At esd.equipment you will find Elsold cored solder wires, no-clean fluxes, deoxidation tablets for solder baths as well as hand and surface disinfectants.

Choosing the right Elsold product
Solder wire by alloy and diameter
The key factors are alloy, wire diameter and flux class:
- Lead-free: Sn96.3Ag3.7, 0.75 mm diameter, 3 % flux (ORM1) for typical THT and SMD joints.
- Leaded: Sn62Pb36Ag2, 0.5 mm diameter, 3.5 % flux (ROL0) for fine joints, only where leaded solders are permitted.
Flux by process
ELFLUX 1025 NC is designed for wave soldering lines without subsequent cleaning and comes in a 20 l canister. The no-clean flux 3002M NC in a 1 l container suits process qualification, trials and smaller machines.
Maintaining the solder bath
Sn99P1 deoxidation tablets add phosphorus to lead-free solder baths and can be dosed in small, even portions.
Hygiene at the workplace
For hands there is an ethanol-based disinfectant to WHO formulation 1, for workbenches and handles a surface disinfectant based on 2-propanol. Both come in 5 l canisters for refilling dispensers.
