The plug is the inserted coupling half at the end of the hose assembly. It is pushed by hand into the socket on the mating side and locks there. On disconnection it stays with the line and no tool is needed. Model NKU-610PW/10MHOSE.

How it works, step 1 - open the valve
Only after connection with the plug, you can slide the socket sleeve B toward the plug in order to open the built-in valve. Full flow path is then obtained.

Operating principle
On disconnection the valve in the socket closes the supply line. The fluid left in the plug escapes.
Sockets of HI CUPLA ACE and FULL BLOW CUPLA comes with a spring nut that prevents hose bending and urethane hose with excellent flexibility, durability and wear resistance.
Built-in separation prevention mechanism locks the sleeve upon connection, thus prevents accidental disconnection.
Just push the plug into the socket for simple connection.
Spiral polyurethane coil hoses processed from straight tube have self-recoiling feature.
A Sleeve Cover is attached to NK CUPLA HOSE / NK CUPLA COIL HOSE with FULL BLOW CUPLA, which reduces the impact on CUPLA and improves operability.
HI CUPLA ACE and FULL BLOW CUPLA sockets with polyurethane hoses are now standard stock items.
The flow rate is increased by up to 40% more than that of HI CUPLA.
During connection and disconnection, the valve is closed, enabling connection/disconnection under zero line pressure.

Choose this series when the air line is to be supplied as a finished polyurethane hose assembly with the socket and the plug already fitted, rather than as separate couplings such as HI CUPLA BL, NUT CUPLA or LOCK CUPLA 200. The assemblies are rated 1.0 MPa {10 kgf/cm2} for the straight hose and 0.7 MPa {7 kgf/cm2} for the coil hose, so a line that has to run at the 1.5 MPa {15 kgf/cm2} of those peer series needs the separately supplied FULL BLOW CUPLA or another series. The shut-off is one-way and the fluid is air, so applications that call for two-way shut-off, as with COMPACT ZEROSPILL CUPLA, lie outside its scope.
