Plastic housings, films and isolated parts cannot be grounded. The SCS Ion Pro Benchtop Ionizer neutralises their charge with steady-state DC ionization in less than 1.5 seconds at 12 inches (30 cm) and holds balance within ±3 V. An ion collecting plate continuously samples balance and discharge time, so performance cannot drop off unnoticed.
