Wescorp ESD Polyimide Tape, High Temperature, 13 mm x 32.9 m - Desco 81271

Standard tape often charges to more than 1000 V when unwound, which is a risk near sensitive assemblies. Wescorp polyimide tape generates less than 50 V on average when unwound and is designed for masking gold features and board areas that must stay free of solder during wave or reflow soldering.

Applications

Masking gold fingers and contact pads during wave soldering and in reflow ovens, holding and covering in SMT production. Best applied with a rubber roller. If less than 50 V is required, unwind with a grounded dispenser or under ionization.
