Description
The Conductex work coat from HB protects electronic components during work in the EPA by dissipating both electrostatic charge and particle shedding from the wearer's clothing. The carbon grid woven into the fabric conducts charges away in a controlled way and keeps the coat within the resistance range of DIN EN 61340-5-1.
Benefits
- Lightweight Conductex blended fabric at only 130 g/m² for high comfort over long shifts.
- Good dissipative values: typical point-to-point resistance Rp-p of 10⁶ to 10⁷ Ω.
- Cut without side seams and with bound closing seams for reduced particle shedding.
- Concealed snap-button placket, lapel collar and ESD logo on the left upper arm.
Application
For staff in EPA areas of electronics manufacturing, assembly, repair and test where charge-dissipative outerwear is required.
Standards
Meets the requirements of DIN EN 61340-5-1 for ESD protective clothing.
