ESD interlocking floor tile ProFloor PF 105B for battery rooms, vinyl, grey mottled, 608 x 608 x 10.5 mm

A battery room floor has to do two jobs at once: drain static charge and still keep enough resistance to protect people. The ProFloor PF 105B sits in exactly that window at 10⁶ to 10⁸ Ω. The 10.5 mm interlocking tiles are loose-laid and locked by their edges, so the subfloor does not need costly repair first.

Application

Dissipative flooring for battery rooms, charging areas and ESD protected areas (EPA) in production and storage. For grounding, lay a copper tape loosely under the floor every 5 m and connect it to earth through 1 MΩ. Alternatively, fix the copper tape to the floor with a press stud and ground it through a grounding block. With temperature swings of +/- 5 °C, keep a 5 mm gap to walls, columns and other fixed parts. Clean with an ESD-safe floor cleaner to retain the dissipative properties. Price per tile.

ESD-suitable to DIN EN 61340-5-1. Personal protection to VDE 0100. Suitable for battery rooms to DIN EN IEC 62485-2:2019 (formerly EN 50272-2). Reaction to fire Bfl-s1 to EN 13501-1.
