Mipolam Biocontrol EL5
Floor coverings
Mipolam Biocontrol EL5 combines a conductive floor covering with a full cleanroom qualification. The homogeneous vinyl is 2 mm thick, supplied as a 200 cm x 20 m roll, and reaches a resistance Rg between 104 and 106 Ω to EN 1081. It also carries test values that purely technical ESD coverings do not provide: particle emission class ISO 5 to ISO 14644-1, cleanability with 98.8 % reduction of particle contamination, and resistance to gaseous hydrogen peroxide.

The LRV values (light reflectance value) support lighting and contrast planning, the NCS notation helps to match wall and furniture colours.
Typical applications: cleanrooms in pharmaceutical and biotechnology production under GMP requirements, sterile filling and API manufacturing, medical device cleanrooms, laboratories using H₂O₂ decontamination, and operating theatres and procedure rooms that also require a conductive floor.
Position within the range: Mipolam Biocontrol ESD+ shares the cleanroom background but keeps body voltage below 35 V rather than 100 V and is aimed at the most demanding EPA areas. Without cleanroom requirements, Mipolam EL5 offers the same resistance range.
