Mipolam EL5
Floor coverings
Mipolam EL5 is a homogeneous, permanently conductive vinyl sheet flooring from Gerflor, 2 mm thick, supplied in rolls of 200 cm x 20 m. Conductive here means a through resistance of 104 to 106 Ω to EN 1081, the tighter of the two EL grades. The covering is fully bonded and the seams are welded with conductive welding rod. The factory applied Evercare™ treatment keeps the floor free of polish for its service life and resistant to alcohol based disinfectants.

The LRV values (light reflectance value) support lighting and contrast planning, the NCS notation helps to match wall and furniture colours.
Typical applications: electronics manufacturing and SMT lines, test and measurement rooms, operating theatres and intensive care areas where conductive floors are mandatory, anaesthesia and X-ray rooms, and explosives or ammunition areas with dissipation requirements.
Position within the range: Mipolam EL7 is dissipative at 106 to 108 Ω rather than conductive and covers data centres, telecommunications and laboratories. Where cleanroom and GMP requirements apply on top of ESD, Mipolam Biocontrol EL5 is the matching range.
