Mipolam EL7 is the dissipative homogeneous vinyl sheet flooring from Gerflor: 2 mm thick, roll 200 cm x 20 m, through resistance 106 to 108 Ω to EN 1081. The range sits deliberately higher than Mipolam EL5 because data centres, telecommunications rooms and laboratories do not need the fastest possible dissipation but a controlled one that also maintains an insulation resistance above 5 x 104 Ω to VDE 100. With ten colours EL7 offers the widest palette in the Gerflor conductive and dissipative programme.

The LRV values (light reflectance value) support lighting and contrast planning, the NCS notation helps to match wall and furniture colours.
Typical applications: data centres and server rooms, control rooms and telecommunications installations, laboratories and analysis rooms, test and calibration areas, and electronics manufacturing where a dissipative rather than a conductive floor is specified.
Position within the range: Mipolam EL5 is conductive at 104 to 106 Ω and is intended for operating theatres and ATEX related areas. Mipolam Robust EL7 has the same resistance range but is heavier, carries no factory surface treatment and is additionally available as a tile for raised access floors.
