Glamox A25-S280 surface-mounted luminaire (DALI CF)

The Glamox A25-S280 is a surface-mounted luminaire and is fixed straight onto the ceiling or another substrate. The DALI CF version is used where no ceiling void is available for a recessed fitting. Compared with a pendant luminaire the space below the ceiling stays clear, and compared with a recessed one no cut-out is needed. At 1,800 lm the version listed here covers the upper step of the range.

Two axes define the variants: luminous flux of 1,100 lm or 1,800 lm and light colour of 3000 K or 4000 K. The lower step is enough for corridors, ancillary rooms and small zones, the higher one for areas that should be evenly bright. Warm white gives a calm impression, neutral white a more matter-of-fact one.

A practical answer for solid ceilings and for rooms where lighting is added later. Where a flush ceiling surface is required, the recessed version is the better route.
