Series comparison

Choose this series when the job calls for a ready made air line rather than a loose coupling: NK CUPLA HOSE and NK CUPLA COIL HOSE are supplied as polyurethane hose assemblies with a HI CUPLA ACE or FULL BLOW CUPLA socket at one end and a NUT CUPLA plug at the other, and DUSTER CUPLA adds the air blow button switch and the ball bearing swivel. All versions are one-way shut-off and for air only, at 1.0 MPa {10 kgf/cm2} for the straight hose and 0.7 MPa {7 kgf/cm2} for the coil hose, so a line running up to 1.5 MPa {15 kgf/cm2} calls for HI CUPLA BL, NUT CUPLA, LOCK CUPLA 200 or ROTARY LINE CUPLA instead. Where liquid spillage on disconnection has to be limited, COMPACT ZEROSPILL CUPLA is the two-way shut-off alternative at 1.0 MPa {10 kgf/cm2}.

Safety and application notes

• Before use, please be sure to read "Safety Guide" described at the end of this book and "Instruction Sheet" that comes with the products.
• To mount on urethane hose, slide it over to the hose barb and tighten the nut until it is flush against the hose barb base.
• It is recommended that grease is applied to the inside of the nut (threaded part and hose contact part) for easy tightening.
