Protective cap for battery-powered B.IRON tools that lets you carry the tool safely even with a cartridge fitted. As soon as the cap is on, heating stops immediately and the tool disconnects from the station. After 10 minutes of inactivity it switches off to save the battery.

Description
Cordless soldering tools are most useful when they move between workstations. The B1596 safety cap makes this safe. It guards against burns from the cartridge and at the same time puts the B.IRON tool into an energy-saving state.
How it works
- Fitting the cap stops cartridge heating immediately
- Data transfer and the link to the station are cut
- After 10 minutes of inactivity the tool switches off to preserve the battery
- It can only be switched on again by placing it in its charging holder
- Transport with the cartridge fitted, without risk of injury
