The 106R delivers 44 l/min at 8 bar. That air rarely goes straight to the consumer, as treatment with a filter and regulator sits in between. The 5 µm filter element holds back particles and entrained condensate. Leave it in place too long and pressure drop across the filter rises until the barrier effect is lost.

Compatibility

For the filter stage of 106R machines. Where finer cleaning is required, Jun-Air also lists the 0.01 µm fine filter, which moves the installation up to the next air quality class to ISO 8573-1:2010.

Application

As a rule of thumb, replace it once a year or as soon as pressure at the outlet sits noticeably below tank pressure. Laboratory applications with sensitive instruments justify a shorter interval, because every particle that passes affects the result directly.
