Capacitor Service Kit for 120R Compressor Pump - Jun-Air K1029

The single-phase motor of the 120R relies on its capacitor for starting torque. As capacitance drops over the years, the first symptom appears when starting against residual pressure: the motor hums, draws high current and the thermal protector trips. The genuine K1029 service kit restores starting behaviour without replacing the pump.

Application

Isolate the machine and discharge the capacitor before replacement, as it holds charge after switch-off. If the fault returns after the change, check the pressure switch and the unloader valve, because starting against full tank pressure overloads any capacitor.
