First in, first out: the FIFO shelf is bolted at an angle to the vertical struts of the KARL FIFO rack, and picking bins and Euro containers run over 1200 mm clear depth from the loading side to the picking side. Material supply stays separate from assembly and walking distances at the workstation get shorter.
