The KERN KUP-08 adapter uses the KERN Universal Port (KUP) and converts the measured weighing value proportionally into an analog signal (0 - 10 V or 4 - 20 mA) that can drive an analog system. It plugs onto the integrated DB-15 connector in plug-and-play fashion.
