Electrolytic capacitors, relays or connectors with a short cable often do not fit into flat boxes. The V8-2 keeps the 75 x 50 mm footprint but offers 45 mm internal height, 12 mm more than the V8-1. The hinged lid stays on the box and the PS dissipates at 10^4 to 10^11 ohms.
