Description
Brass wool removes oxides and solder residue from the tip without cooling it down the way a wet sponge does. New-style PACE tool stands hold a brass insert for this, which gradually clogs with solder. According to PACE, the genuine 1129-0018 replacement fits stands 6019-0079 to 6019-0083 and stand 6019-0088 for the TD-200 and TD-100A.
