The plug is pushed into the socket and makes the connection to the supply line. Its swivelling end absorbs the movement of the line behind it without the coupling being released. On a tool change the plug stays with the tool. Model FBH-RT, Zn Alloy, Seal material NBR.
Rotary coupling Rotary Full Blow Line Cupla FBH-RT, Zn Alloy - Nitto Kohki 320001300
Where a tool is turned continuously, the hose twists at a rigid coupling. The Rotary Full Blow Line Cupla combines the swivelling design of the Rotary Line Cupla with the connection technology of the FBH Full Blow range.
Swivelling connection lets the line follow the movement of the tool instead of twisting at the coupling
The hose stays untwisted and therefore keeps its full bore through the shift
Zinc alloy body is lighter than a steel version and puts less load on the hose end
Seal in nitrile rubber (NBR), the standard material for compressed air lines
Two configurations, FBH-RE and FBH-RT, to match the position of the existing connection

Operating principle
On disconnection the valve in the socket closes the supply line. The fluid left in the plug escapes.
Multiple outlets are available from single air supply source.
Sideway air outlets are rotatable to any angle.
Choose either RT type (2 outlets) or RE type (3 outlets) to suit your application.
The flow rate increases by 40% to 50% over that of ROTARY LINE CUPLA RT type/RE type.
During connection and disconnection, the valve is closed, enabling connection/disconnection under zero line pressure.
When the sleeve of socket is returned to its original position, the purge mechanism releases the residual air pressure in the plug, eliminating unpleasant popping noise and hose whip motion on disconnection.
Choose ROTARY FULL BLOW LINE CUPLA when one air supply of up to 1.5 MPa {15 kgf/cm2} has to feed two or three outlets that each swivel to any angle, which the single-outlet siblings HI CUPLA BL, NUT CUPLA, LOCK CUPLA 200, HI CUPLA Two Way Type, ROTARY PLUG and TWIST PLUG do not do. Against ROTARY LINE CUPLA, rated the same 1.5 MPa {15 kgf/cm2} and likewise one-way shut-off, it adds the valve that lets connection and disconnection take place under zero line pressure and the purge of the residual air pressure in the plug. PURGE LINE CUPLA and TWIST PLUG stop at 1.0 MPa {10 kgf/cm2}, PURGE HI CUPLA reaches 1.5 MPa {15 kgf/cm2} only in the PVR type, and the two-way shut-off COMPACT ZEROSPILL CUPLA at 1.0 MPa {10 kgf/cm2} addresses spill rather than branching.

Safety and application notes
Before use, please be sure to read "Safety Guide" described at the end of this book and "Instruction Sheet" that comes with the products.
How it works, step 1 - open the valve: only after connection with the plug, you can slide the socket sleeve B toward the plug in order to open the built-in valve. Full flow path is then obtained.
How it works, step 2 - lock the sleeve: rotate the flange counterclockwise to lock the sleeve B. Without unlocking the plug you cannot disconnect.
How it works, step 3 - purge the residual air: to disconnect the plug, first turn the flange back to its original position for unlocking and then pull the sleeve B back to the original position. The built-in valve will be closed to purge the residual air pressure. Air will be purged out under the sleeve B.
