The plug is pushed into the socket and makes the connection to the supply line. Its swivelling end lets the hose behind it turn freely without the coupled joint being released. The turning motion of the tool is kept away from the parting point. Model RE-type, Brass/Steel, Seal material NBR.
A hose that turns with the work twists at the coupling and pulls back on the tool. The Rotary Line Cupla is built as a swivelling coupling, so the line turns freely against the connection.
Swivelling design lets the hose follow the movement of the tool instead of twisting at the coupling
Without twisting the hose stays open and keeps its full bore through the shift
Brass and steel body takes the constant turning motion at the parting point
Seal in nitrile rubber (NBR), the standard material for compressed air lines
Two configurations, RE and RT, so the coupling is selected to suit the position of the connection

Operating principle
On disconnection the valve in the socket closes the supply line. The fluid left in the plug escapes.
Multiple outlets are available from single air supply source.
Sideway air outlets are rotatable to any angle. Possible hose twists can be eliminated by the component couplings' swivel mechanism.
Choose either RT type (2 outlets) or RE type (3 outlets) to suit your application.
Each air outlet can be turned freely to any angle independently.
The products come with dustproof caps.

Air
Choose ROTARY LINE CUPLA when one air supply at 1.5 MPa {15 kgf/cm2} has to feed two branch lines (RT type) or three branch lines (RE type) from a single free turn manifold, with the flow running from the inlet port to the outlet ports as the one-way shut-off structure requires. Single couplings such as HI CUPLA BL, NUT CUPLA, LOCK CUPLA 200, HI CUPLA Two Way Type, ROTARY PLUG and ROTARY FULL BLOW LINE CUPLA carry the same 1.5 MPa {15 kgf/cm2} and the same one-way shut-off, but each serves one connection instead of a manifold. COMPACT ZEROSPILL CUPLA, PURGE LINE CUPLA and TWIST PLUG are rated 1.0 MPa {10 kgf/cm2}, and COMPACT ZEROSPILL CUPLA is the choice only where two-way shut-off with spill reduction is required at that lower pressure.

Applications
Hand-held pneumatic tools that are turned and tilted during work
Workstations with overhead hose runs where the hose would otherwise coil up
Line sections where the hose barb is loaded by twisting
Retrofitting to existing connections where the hose has to be untwisted regularly
Safety and application notes
Fluid must run from the inlet port to the outlet ports.
Fluid must run in the direction of the arrow.
Not suitable for vacuum application in either connected or disconnected condition.
The operable temperature range depends on the operating conditions.
Before use, please be sure to read 'Safety Guide' described at the end of this book and 'Instruction Sheet' that comes with the products.
