Nuts and bolts with 9 mm across flats that leave no room above them for a socket can be reached with the flat ring head of the Stahlwille adaptor No. 447. The bi-hex with AS-Drive profile sits 50.8 mm to the side of the 3/8 inch internal square, so the ratchet or torque wrench is applied offset from the bolt. Ring height h1 is just 8 mm.
