Union nuts on pipe, brake and hydraulic lines cannot be reached with a socket, and an open-ended wrench grips only two faces. This OPEN RING insert tool with a 7/16 inch wrench size slides over the line and encloses the nut almost completely with its bi-hex profile. The AS-Drive profile transmits the torque on the flanks and protects the corners of the nut. The 9 x 12 mm tool holder fits torque wrenches with an interchangeable insert system, and the tool weighs 56 g.
