A clog that stays on through the shift and still comes off in seconds. The perforated full cowhide upper brings air to the foot, the pin buckle holds it, and the conductive EVA sole keeps the person, shoe and floor chain below the 100 MOhm limit of DIN EN 61340-5-1. That makes the shoe usable inside an ESD protected area without further grounding measures at the foot.

What sets this model apart

• Conductive EVA sole for the ESD protected area. Footwear resistance is measured to EN 61340-4-3 and the supplier data sheet states certification to DIN EN ISO 20347. Combined with a dissipative floor the shoe keeps the person, shoe and floor chain below the 100 MOhm limit that DIN EN 61340-5-1 sets for an EPA.
• Occupational footwear, not safety footwear. DIN EN ISO 20347 covers shoes without a protective toe cap. That saves weight and bulk at workplaces with no impact or drop hazard, but it is no substitute for safety footwear to EN ISO 20345.
• Footbed of air cushion and natural cork with a suede leather cover. The cork supports the arch, the air cushion damps the heel strike and the suede cover takes up moisture. That is the combination that matters over an eight hour shift on hard flooring.
• A single pin buckle across the instep. The shoe holds firmly enough for a full day and still goes on and off in seconds, which counts when staff move between the EPA and the break area several times.
• Heel height 3 cm. The heel sits slightly raised and weight shifts forward onto the ball of the foot. Anyone who stands a lot and walks little feels that as noticeable relief compared with a flat sole.
• Upper of full cowhide leather with perforation. The leather is hard wearing and wipes clean, the perforation brings air to the foot and keeps it dry in warm production halls. White fits laboratory, cleanroom and medical technology areas where light coloured workwear is the rule.

Anywhere staff spend the whole day in the EPA and want the shoe off in seconds at the end of the shift. Where there is an impact, drop or penetration hazard, specify safety footwear to EN ISO 20345 instead.
