Flux remover concentrate TR 14 for PCBs and solder stencils in the ultrasonic bath, 2 litres - Tickopur 873

Flux residues and solder paste on assemblies and stencils cause leakage currents and misprints. Tickopur TR 14 saponifies rosin fluxes into water-soluble resin soaps, and ultrasound speeds this up considerably. A board comes clean in 30 to 180 seconds at 60 to 70 °C, without organic solvents.

Benefits in use

• Removes rosin fluxes, solder pastes and ionic and non-ionic residues.
• Also dissolves fingerprints, drilling and grinding residues, greases and oils.
• Very short sonication time: 30 to 180 seconds at 10 % dosage and 60 to 70 °C.
• Free of organic solvents and surfactants, so it does not foam.
• Alkaline with pH 11.7 at 1 %, biodegradable.

Applications

Cleaning populated and bare PCBs and hybrids, solder frames and stencils, electronic components and assemblies in electronics manufacturing. Also parts made of metal, glass, ceramics, plastics and rubber.

Use and compatibility

For ultrasonic cleaning, for example in Sonorex units. For PCB cleaning in service work the manufacturer recommends Tickopur RW 77 instead. For higher consumption TR 14 is also available in a 5 litre canister.
