Small parts only stay properly separated inside the 5150.831 drawer cabinet if the divider itself is conductive. This compartment layout splits one drawer into 12 compartments and is made of permanently conductive polystyrene with a typical surface resistance of 10^4 - 10^5 ohm.

Application

Inside the EPA the layout is used wherever electronic small parts have to be within reach and still kept apart: at repair and test benches, in assembly preparation and at the material counter. As cabinet and divider are both made of conductive plastic, the dissipation path stays intact along the whole route of the component.
