On live installations the gripping tool has to be tested as well. The 30 16 160 long nose pliers have insulated multi-component sleeves with VDE approval to IEC 60900 plus 46.5 mm jaws that still reach the workpiece behind terminal strips and rows of terminals.

Areas of use

Electrical installation, control cabinet and distribution board building, maintenance and service work on electrical equipment. The long jaws grip conductors, nuts and small parts in places that combination pliers can no longer reach.

Standards and conformity

The pliers comply with DIN ISO 5745. The insulated grip sleeves are VDE tested to DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900 and are therefore approved for live working up to 1000 V AC. According to the manufacturer the pliers contain no substances of very high concern under REACH. The RoHS directive does not apply.
