Description
The H13 particulate filter cassette is the main filter stage of the ULT dust and smoke extraction units ASD 160 and ASD 200. Its class H13 HEPA filter is a suspended matter filter to DIN EN 1822 and reaches a separation rate of 99.95 %. The finest airborne particles stay inside the unit and the cleaned air can be returned to the workroom in recirculation mode without any heat loss.

Position in the filter build
In the dust and smoke filter build an upstream Z-Line prefilter of class G4 holds back the bulk of the coarse particles, followed by the M5 filter mat rated ISO Coarse 85 % to ISO 16890. Only then does the H13 particulate filter cassette come into play. Changing the prefilters at shorter intervals keeps the main filter working for a long time.
Applications
Filter change on ULT extraction units of the ASD 160 and ASD 200 series, used for grinding, engraving, polishing, restoration work and filling or dosing operations.
Note on recirculation
Recirculation is not permitted when carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic substances are extracted and filtered. In those cases the cleaned air has to be routed through connected ducting into an exhaust system.
Compatibility and scope of delivery
Suitable for the ASD 160 and ASD 200 device series. Supplied as a single filter cassette (1 piece). Made by ULT AG in Germany.
