This Safeshield shipping box, 178 x 127 x 38 mm, shields its contents against electrostatic fields and discharges through a conductive inner layer. A dissipative black PU foam insert (part no. 4903.1.15, soft, 1:1 stud profile) is included and keeps the part in place during transport.

Application

In-house storage and external shipping of electrostatic discharge sensitive devices (ESDS). The 178 x 127 x 38 mm format takes printed circuit boards, connectors and small assemblies. Once closed, the box stays an effective protective package outside the EPA as well, on its way to a customer, a contract manufacturer or the repair department.
