The 1500 ECO split ring lamp from Zeiss works with a continuous slot of light laid evenly around the optical axis. It is designed as an accessory for stereo microscopes and visual inspection stations. Unlike lamps built from individual point sources, it leaves no pattern of separate reflections on glossy parts.
