ESD Kapton polyimide tape 12 mm x 33 m, dissipative, up to 300 °C

Wave soldering demands that pads, connector contacts and plated holes stay clear of solder. This dissipative polyimide tape in 12 mm width masks them, survives the wave at up to 300 °C for short periods and peels off without residue.

Applications

Solder masking on printed circuit boards before wave soldering, protection of gold contacts and test points, fixing thermocouples for profile measurement and masking during coating work.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Supplied as one roll of 12 mm width and 33 m length on a core with 76 mm inner diameter. The width can be combined with the other roll widths of this series from 6 to 25 mm.

The dissipative tape material is intended for use in EPA areas according to IEC 61340-5-1.
