ESD Kapton polyimide tape 8 mm x 33 m, dissipative, up to 300 °C

Between single pins and full pad fields sits the need for a medium tape width. This dissipative polyimide tape at 8 mm masks narrow contact rows precisely before wave soldering and survives the process at up to 300 °C for short periods.

Applications

Solder masking of narrow contact rows before wave soldering, protection of gold contacts and test points, fixing thermocouples for profile measurement and masking during painting and repair work on assemblies.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

One roll of 8 mm width and 33 m length on a core with 76 mm inner diameter. The series covers narrower and wider masking with widths from 6 to 25 mm.

The dissipative tape material is intended for use in EPA areas according to IEC 61340-5-1.
