ESD Kapton polyimide tape black 10 mm x 33 m

Adhesive tape at an ESD workstation has to be dissipative and survive soldering temperature. This black polyimide tape from SafeGuard ESD is set to a dissipative level, measures 10 mm by 33 m and withstands process heat of up to 300 °C for short periods.

Applications

Masking contact areas and connector rows before wave soldering, fixing cable looms, thermocouples and sensors, insulating conductors, and masking during conformal coating of electronic assemblies.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The 76 mm core fits common bench dispensers and tape holders. Delivery comprises one roll measuring 10 mm wide and 33 m long.

The dissipative surface resistance of 10⁵ ohms meets the requirement for dissipative auxiliary materials in EPA areas according to IEC 61340-5-1.
