Large tape reels need a divider over the full height of the compartment, otherwise they lean on each other and cannot be picked individually. This separator measures 330 x 330 x 2 mm and is conductive itself, so no insulating surface is created inside the compartment.

Application

The separator is used in the SMD component store and at setup stations inside the EPA to divide compartments holding large reels. Conductive aids stand on grounded surfaces there, so the charge they collect reaches the common ground point.
