Large unions normally call for a heavy pipe wrench. The Cobra XL 87 01 400 takes pipes up to Ø 90 mm and nuts up to 95 mm across flats while weighing only 1.190 kg, clearly less than a pipe wrench of comparable capacity.

Standards and conformity

The pliers are manufactured to DIN ISO 8976. According to the manufacturer they contain no substances of very high concern under REACH. The RoHS directive does not apply to this hand tool.
